BIO
Alesanna Noel Newton was born on a crisp July 9, 1989 morning to a Zimbabwean doctor and his American wife in the busy city of New York. Alesanna would be the only child of this union because both parents ultimately decided that one child was all that they needed.
When an opening came up at Arizona Heart Hospital in 1999, her father, a prominent cardiologist, decided to move the family there. Alesanna was only 10 years old and found it quite hard to adjust to life in a new location. She hated leaving behind her friends for what seemed like a quieter and less-quality of a city. But despite the change, she finally adjusted. She fell in with a crowd of her father's friends children. They were all these spoiled children who lived in large houses on rather large acres of land.
Since Alesanna was an only child, she had no problem getting what she wanted. But her father worked hard just to make it here in America and enstilled in her the value of hard work. As long as Alesanna studied hard, made good grades, then he was willing to give her whatever she wanted. If it was a car or designer clothes, she knew she had to "earn" it by good behavior.
She was always a daddy's girl and to others, she appeared to be spoiled. But she knew deep down that everything she had, she worked hard for. She continued to be the apple of her father's eye until she wasn't accepted into Harvard, Duke or Penn. All of these schools had top medical programs.
PRESENT
She took a year off after graduation and simply attended the local community college just to get her basics out of the way. Now, she has moved on to ASU and for the first time is living on her own. She has an apartment that she is currently sharing with one of her good friends from high school (![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) alexat). Alexa is definetly the polar opposite of her, but she believes that this arrangement will work. Maybe she can help Alexa calm down a bit and maybe Alexa can help her in lossening up a bit.
FACTS
-Is an only child, but has always longed for a sister or even an older brother.
-She has always worked hard, studied hard and is sometimes viewed as uptight.
-Feels that if she doesn't become a doctor, she will be letting her family down.
-Is used to the finer things in life and is sometimes viewed as spoiled.
-Is single because most boys aren't willing to treat her like a lady.
-Is technically a virgin, but has done other things with boys that are considered sexual.
-Goes back to New York often for shopping, fun and to visit childhood friends.
-Would love to be the next Beyonce. Music is where her heart is.
-Can play piano and guitar, but hasn't in a year or so.
-Can't picture herself in a serious relationship until she gets to grad school.
